Gallon Game Strong

Just finished up my Tuesday Sprints at the track…… 10 done and in the books.  I have also been slacking hard core on my water intake.  So went to Holiday and purchased this 1/2 gallon jug for $1.43.  Nothing like a cute little jug staring at you all day long.


I am committing to drinking 2 a day ( 1 gallon ) for the rest of this month.  We will see if I can afford to buy more toilet paper at the start of next month to support this habit.

Obliques

Target your entire CORE with planks BUT give a little extra attention to your OBLIQUES with this move.

I did this exercise in the gym on Saturday with my feet up on a tire.  A bench would work too.  So in between baseball games I wanted to show you guys because I liked it that much.

Keep your core tight, back flat and butt out of the air.

Rainbow



Did anyone catch that Rainbow on Saturday Evening in Utah ( county )?  It was the most vibrant rainbow I have ever seen.This picture has no filter on it.  It almost looks fake.  Pinky Swear, that rainbow is legit straight from an iPhone.

Anyway,  MONDAY MORNING WAKE UP:

Do the first exercise in the circuit for 30 seconds.

Rest for 15 seconds.

Do the last exercise for 15 reps.

Repeat the workout as needed.  I would suggest at least 5x.

For me, the ability to re-ignite a flame inside someone to want better health has become an addiction for me.  I receive emails/messages all the time about how I have made an influence in someones life for the better.  Those messages keep my fire burning to SERVE, CONTRIBUTE and IMPACT lives.

Fitness and health is something I am very passionate about.  So being able to make people see through my eyes the potential for better health fuels my fire.

Self Love and Self Esteem is a big deal.  2 very important aspects to live the best life we can live.

MMMW: Booty Burner

MONDAY MORNING WAKE UP:  BooTY Burner


Ok Guys…… Lets Burn the booty with a Weighted Exercise and immediately follow it up with a body weight PULSING exercise.  You have to EXAGGERATE the body weight exercise.  Get low.  Get deep.  Go slow and make it BURN.

The last exercise is 20 jump squats.  So JUMP!!!  Get some air between the ground and the bottom of your shoes.  Don't just go through the motions on those jumps and when you finish a set you'll be like, "ohhhhhhh, they DO burn and here I am gasping for air!"  

Make every rep count!

VERSA GRIPPS

So I may be late to the Versa Gripps game, but after only a few workouts I am winning!


The other day I was doing Deadlifts and my grip/hands were giving out and my forearms were on FIRE!!!  I tried to wrap a towel around the bar on my last set and that did absolutely no good.  Duh.

With the strap around your wrist that the takes the pressure out of your grip.  The part that wraps around the dumbbell or bar has this cool sticky/grippy material.  That part also protects your hands…mine are currently a little rough and tough since I don't use gloves. UGH!   That part is also what makes these Versa Gripps AWESOME.  You don't really have to hold onto to the Bar or DB.  They  just stick in there.

Basically, these take all the pressure out of your hands and you can work the muscle being worked without your grip giving out first.  My first day wearing them I pulled back 40+ pounds more on my seated cable rows.  I used my hands hardly at all.  My back did all the work.

And do I need to mention mine are camo…. LOVE!!!  They also have pink ladies.  You won't regret getting a pair.
